Bursledon Office

The Bursledon office was the first of our two offices to open in January 2003. Our office is located in the heart of Lowford village and we offer an easy point of contact for all our sales and lettings clients primarily in Hamble, Netley Abbey, Bursledon and Swanwick.

Bursledon village was the setting for the television series “Howards Way” from 1985 – 1990 and the storyline centred on Tom Howard, an ex aircraft engineer who was made redundant and decided with his financial redundancy settlement to become a boat builder. The primary locations used for the series were ‘The Elephant Boatyard’ ,this is still owned by the Richardson family since being established in 1952 and the ‘The Jolly Sailor Public House’, popular with locals and visitors alike mainly due to its wonderful location on the edge of the Hamble river. The Elephant boatyard also host the famous Bursledon Regatta which takes place annually and normally on the August bank holiday weekend.

If visiting our Bursledon office by car we recommend parking in the Bursledon community car park which is free and only a couple of minutes’ walk.
